Audi RS 6 and RS 7 modified for supercar status

When Audi tweaked the Audi S8 to create the S8 Plus, they added an extra 45 hp and 37lb-ft of torque onto the 4.0 litre engine, turning an already formidable performance vehicle into a true competitor, getting the driver from 0-124 mph in just 12.1 seconds.

Audi has given the Audi RS6 and Audi RS7 the same treatment, making them serious performance contenders. They will now produce 445kW (33kWs more than before) and 750Nm (as opposed to 700Nm). This increase means they can now achieve 0-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds - 0.2 seconds better than previously, plus, suspension has been lowered by 20mm.

You also have the option of a Dynamic Package, which will lift top speed capability to 189.5mph, made possible with Audi’s quattro® all-wheel-drive system and eight-speed automatic gearbox. When activated, this overboost function switches from white to red and everything can be controlled via Audi Select.

The interior is also being given an upgrade - the new RS sport seats have a special Alcantara and leather pattern to give them that super luxurious feel.

The new performance versions of the RS 6 and RS 7 models will be available in 2016, but if you can’t wait until then, Jardine Motors Audi will help you find your next Audi today.
