DESIGNJust sixty examples of the F-TYPE Heritage 60 Edition will be made at the SVO bespoke workshops, and customers can choose between coupé and convertible. All are finished in a striking Sherwood Green finish, a non-metallic paint from the original E-Type palette that Jaguar hasn’t offered since the 1960s. This shade is complemented by Diamond Turned Gloss Black 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Inside, the bespoke upholstery in duo-tone Caraway and Ebony Windsor leather features a monogram finish on the seat uppers and door cards. The aluminium console finish is inspired by the original E-Type’s rear-view mirror casing, and you’ll find the 60th Anniversary logo on the embossed headrests and SV Bespoke treadplates. An SV commemorative ‘One of Sixty’ plaque sits between the seats.
PERFORMANCE The F-TYPE Heritage 60 Edition is based on the all-wheel drive F-TYPE ‘R’, which is powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 producing 575PS and 700Nm of torque. The 0-60mph sprint takes just 3.5 seconds, while maximum speed is an electronically limited 186mph. The all-wheel drive R model, which was launched in 2019, also features revised dampers, anti-roll bars and rear suspension knuckles for heightened driver engagement.
TECHNOLOGY The F-TYPE R comes as standard with a high-definition 12.3-inch instrument cluster, Touch Pro Infotainment system and Smartphone Pack with Apple CarPlay® as standard. Other features include 12-way heated and cooled ‘R’ Performance Seats, Meridian™ Surround Sound System, Climate Pack and Aluminium Gear Shift Paddles.
SAFETYAll F-TYPE models come with a full complement of front, side and overhead airbags. Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition are also standard, while front and rear parking sensors with rear camera take the stress out of low-speed manoeuvring in car parks or tight spaces. Optional systems include Blind Spot Monitors and Park Assist, which will take over the steering when it selects a suitable space for parallel or perpendicular parking.
