The 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed will have an extra special guest in June as the Lexus GS F makes its first public appearance in the UK. The super-saloon model will be driven at the event by Mike Conway, a Toyota Gazoo Racing driver.
Officially released at the 2015 Detroit Motor Show, the GS F features a 5.0-litre V8 engine with 467bhp. We will find out more about performance figures at the Festival of Speed but the 0-60mph time is expected to be in the region of 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 170mph.
With a normally aspirated engine, rather than a forced induction like the Jaguar XFR-S and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, the GS F will stand out as a premium model in its sector. An aggressive-looking exterior is made possible by new front and rear bumpers as well as flared wheel arches. Quad exhausts also give the rear of the car a stunningly dynamic appearance. It is the second four-door saloon that Lexus has produced following the 2008 IS F.
It is still some way from being released in Europe but this exciting opportunity provides Lexus enthusiasts with the chance to get a sneak peak of the car. The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place between 25-28 June. You can find out more about the new Lexus GS F and other cars in the Lexus range by contacting your nearest Lexus dealership today.
