Production version of Lexus LF LC coupé to be unveiled in Tokyo

The exciting Lexus LF LC will be displayed in production-ready format in public for the first time at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The beautiful LF LC coupé was originally seen as a concept at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.

It will be on show at the event in October next to a new hybrid concept which is expected to showcase some of technology that will be offer in the next generation of the Lexus LS.

The LF LC is set to be released initially with two engine options. Entry-level models will get a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain while the more powerful variant will have the 4.7-litre V8 engine that is fitted in the RC F and GS F.

It will be the second Lexus car to be built on the new Toyota scaleable platform, with the C-HR concept being the first. In terms of exterior shaping, the latest spy shots reveal an imposing Lexus front grille that dominates the sleek two-door design.
