I joined Mazda and the company in November 2006 as a technician but wanted an insight in to the whole business. I progressed to Workshop Manager and then eventually to Service manager in August 2014. I enjoy the different aspects of my role which range from dealing with customers / Mazda Products / the Mazda UK Technical team + many more… We are experiencing the benefits from Mazda’s Research and Development, as the Mazda range / product has grown and keeps bringing exciting technology to all their new production cars. In my spare time I spend as much time with my family Rianne and Ruby. I also follow football and Motor Racing.
I have worked for the company for 6 years now and in the Financial Services Industry for 40 years. This experience helps me to understand customer requirements and as Business Manager to tailor make financial packages to suit them. I am very much a people person and enjoy meeting customers from all walks of life. My life outside work revolves mainly around Lichfield Rugby Club where I am Club Secretary. I love to spend time with my 3 now grown up children and visiting the numerous water holes and restaurants that Lichfield has to offer. I like to travel and have been fortunate enough to have visited many parts of the world. My favourite car is the Mazda MX-5, there’s nothing like getting your top down!
I have worked at Mazda for 6 years now, but have been into the motor trade for 10 years. Prior to this I worked at Jessops camera shop where I managed a store. I ventured into Mazda and haven't looked back since, my team here and the Mazda Brand makes my job a pleasure. Every day is different meeting different people with different needs that need to be met which I enjoy. One of my favourite cars is the Mazda MX-5, such fun and puts a smile on your face!
I have been with the company since August 2015 having started as a Sales Trainee after making the small(ish) transition from tree surgery after 4 years in this industry. Since working here I have now been promoted to Sales Executive and I am very happy to be working in such a strong team under brilliant and supportive managers. Working for such an amazing and strong brand as Mazda has been a sheer privilege, everyone who works for Mazda shares the same passion and enthusiasm for the brand and it makes working here both fun and enjoyable. My favourite car is the Mazda MX-5 and seeing the evolution to the current model from its predecessor the future for the car is incredible. You would have an extremely hard time to find a car that gives you a better driving experience for such little money! I look forward to a strong future within this brand and I am extremely excited to be able to grow in this business.
I have been a Service Advisor for over 15 years with Honda and joined the Mazda Brand in May 2016 having being enticed by the exciting range and fantastic showroom and workshop facilities.
Ensuring a great customer experience and relationship is at the forefront of everything we do and the great team at the dealership make great strives to make this happen backed up by a great management team and the Jardine Motor Group nothing is too much trouble and we are constantly looking for ways to improve.
Having previously been a Chef before entering the motor trade I’m also in charge of homemade cake supplies and recipe ideas. In my spare time I still enjoy cooking especially seafood and have eaten at Rick Steins, Jamie Olivers and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls restaurants. I also enjoy all forms of motorsport with a massive focus on MotoGP with Valentino Rossi #46 being my Hero.
I have been involved in the motor industry since I left school back in 1990, starting out as an apprentice then to technician. As I gained experience and knowledge base I became a master technician. I have been a workshop controller/workshop manager for about 10 years mainly with BMW dealers in North London and now Mazda Birmingham having joined in August 2014.
As a very sociable person I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and very focused on delivering the complete customer experience. My hobby is football. Having played the game to a fair standard, you will find me talking about it quite a bit and I support Southampton Football Club. When I was living in London I coached football to children (This was satisfying watching them develop their football skills in to their teenage years). I enjoy travelling to different parts of the world, I have visited Kenya, Brazil and Bolivia. My focus now is improving my skills, so I can progress my career further and take the next step up.
I have worked in the motor trade for 21 years since moving to the Midlands from the North East (Washington). I have worked at Mazda for 2 years. I really enjoy working for the brand and particularly working in such a lovely showroom. I have recently bought a CX-3 and it’s my favourite car. I like to travel with my husband. We really enjoy the Caribbean.
I have been with Mazda for 18 months now and really love my job. I work Thursdays and Fridays meeting customers and greeting them into our showroom, ensuring they feel comfortable, relaxed and informed. I enjoy speaking with all customers and helping them in any way I can. We have a great team here and everyone is friendly, with us all working together to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
I hope to progress my career with Mazda over the coming years once my youngest son is at school. Until that time I will continue to gain knowledge from my colleagues and continue to help out where I can in order to develop my skills.
I started in the Motor Industry straight from school joining the Yenton Motor Company in 1968 working in Parts & Service. I moved with them to Goosemoor Lane, again working in Parts & Service and dabbling in a bit of Car Hire.
Eventually moved to the company in 1996 initially working in Peugeot Parts, I then moved to controlling Workshop parts for the Mazda franchise. Moving to our new Dealership on Tyburn Road supervising the Parts department has opened up exciting new challenges in my twilight years.
