A new study by JD Power has named ŠKODA as the most reliable car brand in the UK. This year (2015) saw the first ever UK Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) which asked owners to report any issues with their cars registered between April 2012 and March 2014. This included anything from problems with in-car entertainment systems to serious breakdowns.
The results of the study were analysed carefully before ŠKODA was announced the clear winner. The brand scored significantly higher than luxury brands, with every vehicle in the range performing above the national average.
Alasdair Stewart, Director of ŠKODA, commented that the result “perfectly illustrates ŠKODA’s passion for delivering quality and dependability”. He went on to add that the build quality of models is “the envy of the industry”.
Following the JD Power findings, Which? has confirmed ŠKODA as a firm favourite with owners. The consumer organisation named the Superb and the Yeti as the most satisfying cars to own in the estate and SUV classes in their 2015-2016 Car Guide.
This is not ŠKODA’s first taste of awards success; the manufacturer has achieved numerous quality and satisfaction awards in recent years. To explore and test drive the full range of dependable vehicles, visit Lancaster ŠKODA in Milton Keynes.
