BMW 116D M Sport is available on BMW Select PCP.
Everything about the BMW iX3 feels like the future of driving, with the new look and feel a celebration of BMW’s first all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle. The careful balance of innovation and style allows each journey to benefit from being all-electric while preserving the BMW experience and, with a fast and convenient charging time, the iX3 is sure to appeal to conscious customers.
The traditional X model design is given a new lease of life due to elegant contours and refined details. Such highlights include the new BMW kidney grille in high-gloss black and jet-black aerodynamic wheels; all topped off with BMW i Blue accent trims found around the mesh-like grille and rear diffuser. The driver can choose between either brushed aluminium or a gloss black exterior trim.
Inside, details such as the BMW i entry sills and ambient light pre-set to BMW i Blue ensure a modern atmosphere, while standard features including sun protective glazing and fully electric seats in Vernasca leather take comfort levels up a gear. As well as this, the repositioned lithium-ion battery now offers greater interior space.
This sense of space is further emphasised by the panoramic glass sunroof that comes as standard, which also maximises the driver’s views. The car offers a choice of four metallic paint finishes – Carbon Black, Mineral White, Phytonic Blue and Sophisto Grey – all of which are elevated by BMW i details on the centre console and instrumental cluster, which has been designed specifically for electric driving along with the Control Display.
The 5th Generation BMW eDrive can be found within the BMW iX3 Premier Edition, which brings the electric motor, electronic systems and transmission into one central unit to reduce space and weight while maximising EfficientDynamics; improving the power to weight ratio by roughly 30%.
As a result of the eDrive technology and a 150kw charging capacity, the BMW iX3 delivers a range of up to 279 miles. What’s more, using high-powered charging stations, the high-voltage battery can be charged up to a level of 80% in approximately 30 minutes. The BMW iX3 Premier Edition goes from 0 to 62mph in 6.8 seconds and, thanks to the constant and instant acceleration, the impressive eDrive unit delivers 286hp.
Available as standard on the BMW iX3 Premier Edition Pro model, the latest BMW IconicSounds Electric has been designed in collaboration with Hans Zimmer to deliver various driving manoeuvres with immediate acoustic feedback, both internally for passengers and externally for pedestrians.
Redesigned for the iX3, the 20” Aerowheels are 15% lighter and boast 5% less drag than previous aerodynamic BMW wheels. Aiding a smooth journey no matter the nature, adaptive suspension allows the driver to adjust the damper characteristics to suit any given situation with a choice of comfort setting or sport programmes.
Connectivity features include the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, MBW Intelligent Personal Assistant and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay Preparation and Android Auto. As well as this, the Connected Charging Digital service points the driver to the nearest public charging stations.Text here ...
The BMW Driving Assistant Professional is included as standard, as well as Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function. Parking Assistant Plus is available with the BMW iX3 Premier Edition Pro, which offers a rear-view camera, Active Park Distance Control, Parking and Reversing Assistant, Surround View System with Remote 3D View, and the new Driver Recorder feature.
Driving Assistant Professional adds an extra layer of intelligence to driving, as well as Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Emergency Stop Assistant, Active Cruise Control and Automatic Speed Assist. A handy addition, Assisted Driving View provides the driver with a clearer understanding of their surroundings and nearby traffic by using an animated 3D display in the instrument cluster.
What’s more, the BMW iX3’s brake regeneration system is linked to the satnav and driver assistance systems to adapt to the road situation. For example, it will automatically slow the car down when the driver approaches a junction. However, this can be overridden by using the accelerator or brake pedal at any time.
