As part of BMW Charging, multiple ways of recharging your vehicle have been realised for drivers all over the UK whether you need to charge your BMW at home after your commute or in public when you're on the go. What's more, new partnerships have been created, and in doing so established access to the largest network of charging stations across the UK an Europe.
All BMW electric and plug-in hybrid models come with a standard BMW charging cable, measuring approximately five metres, which can plug into any conventional 3-pin socket. BMW Charging also offers two additional charging options for your vehicle. The Solo 3 Smart Home Charger or for convenient charging wherever you are, the Flexible Charger.

Don't worry if you don't have any charging options in your home. There is a steadily expanding public charging network of BMW Charging. The My BMW App* or the navigation system in your vehicle will show you public charging points in the vicinity.
With BMW Charging, you can charge across Europe in one of the largest and constantly growing public charging networks with over 300,000 charging points. You can access over 13,000 of these charging points in the UK via the BMW Charging Card and My BMW App*. The Charging Card is included with your new electric BMW and offers you access to the nationwide BMW Charging network.
Have piece of mind while travelling using the My BMW App* or your vehicle's navigation system to find charging stations close by. You can even select filters in your search such as 'high-power charging' and for the BMW i7, iX, i4 and iX3 a new charging optimised route option automatically adds charging stations to the route.
By downloading the My BMW App, you'll have immediate access to vehicle status and functions such as charging status, available range and preconditioning plus an overview of the nearest charging stations.
*The My BMW App is compatible with all BMW vehicles from model year 2014 and later. This requires the ConnectedDrive Services option and a suitable smartphone. The availability and functions of the My BMW App vary according to the market.
