When it comes to training and development, we’re passionate about investing in our colleagues, working together to define opportunities; helping them be the very best that they can be. This could be through internally managed training courses and informal upskilling, manufacturer training and accreditations or funded study.
It’s not just offering opportunities to become the best at what you do that is important to us, opportunities for career progression are too, with support routes available for those open to training to step up when the time is right.

Over the past 5 years, our teams have helped to raise over £1 million for Whizz-Kidz, our group-wide charity partner, and we won’t stop there.

Each month, we celebrate our long-service colleagues and thank them for their commitment, passion and loyalty to the business through the choice of either a gift or extra day’s holiday, as well as a certificate presented to them from their manager.
Women in JMG
Our Women in JMG network was founded to specifically support our mission to encourage more female colleagues into senior manager roles. By creating a network of both men and women supporting each other, we are helping to inspire future female leaders. Throughout the year, we hold a series of events to bring colleagues together to hear from inspirational speakers, encourage them to share their own inspiring stories and experiences, and help address some of the barriers that often get in the way of colleagues rising to the top.
