We’re committed to creating an inclusive culture where our differences are respected and celebrated, where everyone feels included and supported, and all our colleagues can thrive. By defining what matters to them, our colleagues drive forward and shape our approach to diversity and inclusion. This is fundamental to creating a truly inclusive culture and enables every one of our colleagues to make a difference.
By creating equal opportunities and welcoming the best possible talent into our business, we’re able to bring together people from different backgrounds, with different skills and experiences. This enables us to evolve, innovate, achieve our goals, and be the best motor retailer as judged by you.
Our diversity and inclusion mission statement is:
“We strive to create an inclusive environment, removed of bias or stereotypes, where colleagues are empowered to bring their whole selves to work and where their talent shines through.”
We work to ensure each of our colleagues is given a voice, and that as a business, we listen to our teams. In taking such an approach, our colleagues feel empowered, they thrive in their roles, and are proud to work for Jardine Motors Group.
To help us achieve this, we introduced the D&I Steering Group. This brings together like-minded colleagues across the business to connect, share ideas and experiences, and help drive forward our diversification, inclusion and equality commitments.
Here's an introduction to our D&I Steering Group members and what inclusion means to them:
We also established the Colleague Culture Council; a group of colleagues who are passionate about making JMG an outstanding place to work. The Council meets to discuss upcoming initiatives and debate areas of focus for our D&I strategy. Council representatives also share news of team activities that are based around our areas of focus, which we then communicate across the business to inspire others.
