Nine colleagues named in the Automotive 30% Club Inspiring Automotive Women Awards

The inaugural Automotive 30% Club Inspiring Automotive Women Awards took place on Thursday 3 October and we are delighted to say that nine colleagues from Jardine Motors were recognised in the Top 30.

These awards acknowledge the efforts and contributions of 30 inspiring women from within the UK Automotive 30% Clubmember companiesand winners were selected by a prestigious, independent panel. From over 200 entries, our winners were chosen for their inspirational work and for continuing to make exceptional strides to challenge the industry on the issue of gender equality.

A common trait that all these colleagues demonstrate is that they take action, ownership and responsibility for making change happen and that is something that continues to inspire us as a business to break down barriers and push boundaries.

Chief Executive at Jardine Motors Neil Williamson said, “I am incredibly proud that we have had nine colleagues recognised in the Top 30 and this underlines our ongoing commitment to promote greater opportunities for women in automotive. I am privileged to have worked with, and supported, our winning colleagues in achieving their ambitions and I am really excited to see how they progress their careers and become future leaders within their respective fields.”

Neil was further presented with a special ‘Male Advocate Award’ by the Automotive 30% Club, recognising his continued commitment to encouraging women in the automotive industry from the very beginning. This award highlighted Neil’s ongoing support as a senior male ambassador and ally.
