Battista hyper GT makes its Goodwood Festival of Speed debut

Automobili Pininfarina are attending Goodwood’s Festival of Speed for the first time this weekend, with the pure-electric Battista hyper GT appearing as part of the Electric Avenue exhibition.

Goodwood’s Festival of Speed is a celebration of motorsport and car culture, bringing together renowned vehicles, drivers, teams, and manufacturers across 8th – 11th July. The Battista launch model is being showcased as part of the Electric Avenue, displaying the advancements in technology and wide range of electric vehicles available as the industry embraces zero emissions.

The Battista claimed the title of Electric Hypercar of the Year at last year’s GQ Car of the Year awards, and has also received the Electric Dream award from Electrifying.com. Now it will appear at the Festival of Speed as a premium example of sustainable luxury and unrivalled design.

Goodwood visitors will have a chance to view the hyper GT up-close at the event and learn about the EV technology and 90 years of Italian design heritage that make up the Battista. “We are excited to bring Battista to the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed for the first time,” says Per Svantesson, Chief Executive Officer, Automobili Pininfarina.​

It will be the Battista’s second visit to the historic venue this year, following a track day in May where a select number of VIPs got to experience the power of the hyper GT with a co-driver. The Battista prototype continues to be rigorously tested at some of the most demanding racetracks across Europe and the first customer cars are set to be delivered later this year.
