The curtains opened for the new Auris at the Geneva Motor Show, revealing the latest evolutions on one of Toyota’s most
popular family car. The all new Auris has received some of the most comprehensive updates to any platform in the company’s history.
The Toyota Auris hatchback and estate also received a round of important changes, with sharper front and rear designs and a new grille. The biggest changes were saved for the cabin, which has new and improved materials, new technology (including a 4.2-inch touchscreen on some models) and Toyota’s Safety Sense active safety systems. Safety Sense includes low-speed crash prevention, advanced radar-guided cruise control and cross-traffic detection. Like the Avensis, the Auris is also benefitting from updated engines and new diesel choices, and will be built in Burnaston, near Derby.
Sales will likely begin in June 2015, and you can test drive the estate or hatchback shape as soon as they arrive at Lancaster Toyota.
