Up close and personal with the striking MINI Seven
The new special edition MINI Seven has just made its world premiere at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Paying tribute to the very first Mini - the 1959 Austin Seven - this striking MINI showcased its own unique style, features and premium characteristics, and we want to tell you all about it.
At Lancaster, we love all things MINI – and the MINI Seven is truly exceptional. But what makes it so?
Well, the MINI Seven has been created to highlight the distinctive style of the current MINI range and the original Austin Seven, combining elements of the two designs in one iconic model. And MINI has added lots of exciting embellishments to make it extra special.
Let’s consider with the options. Choose from 3 or 5-door, with the latter adding a third seat in the back and a slightly longer wheelbase. Now a colour – choose between exclusive Lapisluxury Blue, Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green.
Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps complement the bodywork, further enhanced by optional Melting Silver bonnet stripes with Malt Brown surrounds. For the final touch, find 17-inch light alloy wheels with an exclusive MINI Seven Spoke two-tone design.
Suspension is sporty and stiff, the TwinPower Turbo Engine is fast and efficient, and the low centre of gravity offers corner-hugging satisfaction and an exciting driving experience. After all, as good as the MINI Seven looks, it’s still all about the drive.
Its exclusive interior design features include a MINI Seven logo on the central instrument cluster, fabric and leather finish Diamond Malt Brown upholstery and Piano Black surfaces for a premium finish. For additional exclusivity, select the optional Chili pack for high-end equipment – that includes a full leather interior and steering wheel, LED headlights and cruise control. You can also choose to add a panoramic roof, heated seats, satellite navigation and a Harman Kardon sound system. Benefit from a 6.5-inch display with Bluetooth® and automatic dual-zone air conditioning as standard.
The MINI Seven has the ability to spoil you, with MINI Head-Up Display, Parking Assistant, Rear-View Camera and Driving Assistant with camera-based Active Cruise Control all available. Collision and Pedestrian Warning with Initial Brake Function, High Beam Assistant and Road Sign Detection is also available to enhance the MINI Seven’s safety.
