With a Porsche plug-in hybrid vehicle, you get the combination of a combustion engine and electric drive to give you maximum power. We can provide you with all the right resources to charge your vehicle whether you're at home or on the go.


AT HOME

As approximately 80% of electrical vehicle charging takes place at home, Porsche offers a number of services to help you charge your PHEV safely from the comfort of your home.

HOME CHECK

By answering a few easy questions over the phone, a home check can be carried out remotely to best understand the optimum charge speeds possible. Otherwise, at a small cost, a qualified electrician can check your electrical infrastructure. Our recommended partner Andersen EV can advise the most effective way to charge your vehicle.

PORSCHE MOBILE CHARGER

  • Use at home or on the road.
  • Required cables and basic wall mount included.
  • Compatible with all Porsche electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
  • Full charge in 24 hours (at 3.6kW), 12 hours (at 7.2kW) or 8 hours (at 11kW).

ON THE ROAD

Porsche offers an extensive network of charging stations throughout the UK and Europe so you can charge you Porsche anytime and anywhere when you're on the go.

PORSCHE CONNECT

With the Connect app, you can control numerous vehicle functions direct from your mobile. This could be checking the charge of your battery or even bringing your vehicle to a comfortable temperature before your start your journey.

TYPE 2 CONNECTOR

All Porsche PHEVs are fitted with a Type 2 vehicle charging port which allows you to charge your vehicle using Alternating Current (AC) charge points. These can be fitted at home but also found at shopping centres, hotels and gyms and have a charging performance of up to 7.2kW.

Some of these charging points are untethered so you will need a Mode 3 public charging cable which is compatible with all Porsche PHEVs.

AT YOUR DESTINATION

As the owner of a Porsche electric vehicle, you can charge your Taycan for free at our exclusive destinations all over the world such as hotels and fine restaurants. You can benefit from more than 4,200 charging points spanning over 75 countries for convenient charging wherever you decided to take a break.
