DESIGN

Combining motorsport DNA with elements of luxury, the four-seater 911 Turbo S is sporty yet comfortable. For maximum performance, the Turbo S has been aerodynamically optimised with features like a variable rear wing and front splitter that can be extended lower than previous models, as well as active air intakes which open and close depending on your driving style. With a design language reminiscent of earlier 911 models, the interior prioritises sportscar ergonomics – from the GT sports steering wheel to the adaptive sports seats. But that doesn’t mean the design team have skimped on luxury – expect two-tone leather with contrasting stitching, trim strips in Light Silver, and decorative inlays in matt carbon. You can also add-on a light design package for ambient lighting to suit your mood.

PERFORMANCE

The 911 Turbo S is fast. Really fast. It generates a staggering 640hp and dips below the 3-second barrier to reach 62mph from a standstill, with a top speed over the magical 200mph. From 0 – 124mph it takes a mere 8.9 seconds. Power from the ferocious 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engine is passed through an 8-speed PDK gearbox to all wheels, whilst the optional sports exhaust system produces a hair-raising engine sound. In the S model, everything has been refined to ensure incredible dynamics. It enjoys an even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine, and transmission, and a mode switch that allows you to choose between driving modes quickly and easily. In Sport Plus mode, PASM, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, and rear-axle steering are primed to ensure sportier damping, increased stability, and more cornering grip. A Sport Response button unleashes a 20-second burst of maximum responsiveness.

TECHNOLOGY

Everything in the Turbo S is within direct reach of the driver and the number of controls has been reduced so you can focus on the pure enjoyment that comes with getting behind the wheel. It uses the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management for functions like real-time navigation shown on the 10.9” central display, which can also be controlled using the “Hey Porsche” prompt. As well as smartphone integration with AndroidAuto and Apple CarPlay for the first time, the Turbo S comes with a Bose audio system as standard. Through your phone you can also check your vehicle status or send your next route to the car via the My Porsche App, or record performance and lap times with the Porsche Track Precision App.

SAFETY

On the 911 Turbo S you’ll be brought to a satisfying stop with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). The cross-drilled ceramic brake discs have a diameter of 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear – for even more formidable braking performance. The airbrake function can also be activated during emergency braking, which extends the front spoiler and rear wing for more control. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) delivers a high level of safety when driving the Turbo S at its performance limits, whilst Wet mode prepares the safest drive response for rainy conditions. A range of driver assistance features come as standard, including Collision and Brake Assist, and you can also order high-tech systems like Night Vision.
