The turbo S E-Hybrid doesn’t shout its status with extra spoilers and stripes – it’s more subtle than that. You’ll notice the acid green brake callipers and the same colour appears on the ‘E-Hybrid’ badging on the front wings. 21-inch Aero Design wheels are unique to this model, and the front-end treatment features enlarged intakes and air blades in the side air intakes. The front grille slats are gloss black, the Porsche Active Aerodynamics package includes an active rear spoiler, and the twin dual-tube tailpipes at the rear are another hint to the immense performance under the bonnet. Inside, the instrument cluster features two high resolution displays, the interior is upholstered in the extended leather package with Turbo-specific leather perforation, and as a neat touch the central analogue rev counter has a black dial, power meter, needles in Acid Green and "Turbo S" logo.


The Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid takes the 550PS, 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from the Cayenne Turbo and combines it with a 136PS electric motor. Combined power output is 680PS and the maximum system torque of 900 Nm is available from just above idle speed. It will accelerate from a standing start to 62 mph in 3.8 seconds and where legal can reach a top speed of 183 mph. In 2021 Porsche upgraded the battery to a gross capacity of 17.9kWh, meaning that the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid can now travel up to 25 miles using battery power alone. It can also reach 83mph in E-Power mode, while the electric motor can also be used in the other modes for an additional power boost. As a performance flagship, it also features the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) electric roll stabilisation system, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) rear axle limited slip differential and the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) high-performance braking system as standard.


All Cayenne models feature three years’ subscription to Porsche Connect, which brings online navigation with real-time traffic information, smart online voice control, and other services such as real-time searches for public charging stations. The flagship Turbo S E-Hybrid adds a 710-Watt BOSE® Surround Sound System with 14 loudspeakers including subwoofer and 14 amplifier channels. The LED main headlights feature the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) that helps you see around bends by dyamically altering the beam pattern.


Standard safety systems include cruise control with speed limiter function, camera-based pedestrian protection and Park Assist at the front and rear – including a rear-view camera system. A head-up display and Night Vision with thermal imaging camera are two of the very few features that don’t come in the standard specification.
