Exterior styling tweaks hint at the Turbo S’ powerful engine, including yellow brake calipers, 21” 911 Turbo wheels, and twin Turbo S tailpipes. The driver-focused cabin features a GT sports steering wheel and low sportscar-inspired seating position. Heated 14-way comfort seats come with a memory function and an embossed ‘Turbo S’ logo on the headrests, for a comfortable and luxurious interior you can really sink into. As expected, it’s beautifully finished with a combination of leather and dark walnut complementing a clean and minimalist centre console. The Sport Turismo provides up to 515 litres of boot space which extends to 1,306 with the rear seats folded, and its longer and taller shape also makes room for the 4+1 seating concept with plenty of legroom.

The Panamera Turbo S is a sportscar at heart. It offers the dynamics of a 911 with sharp response and impressive handling, as well as blistering speeds on tap. Using a retuned 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, the Turbo S produces a breath-taking 621bhp, an additional 79bhp on its predecessor, and 820Nm of torque, an increase of 50Nm. This means it can make the 0 – 62mph sprint in just 3.1 seconds and reach top speeds of 196mph effortlessly. This immense power is passed through an 8-speed PDK gearbox to all wheels, with Porsche Torque Vectoring plus varying torque to each rear wheel via an electronically controlled differential. Air suspension with PASM enhances ride comfort, whilst rear axle steering reduces the turning circle to increase agility and everyday usability.

Porsche’s Sport Chrono package offers an even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine, and transmission, as well as a switch on the steering wheel to choose between driving modes. Sport mode increases dynamics for more direct handling whilst the engine becomes even more responsive in Sport Plus mode. A head-up display projects key information into your field of view, alongside two high res displays and a central analogue rev counter for the instrument cluster. Infotainment is displayed on a 12.3” wide central touchscreen, with smartphone integration including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other standard features include keyless entry and drive, and a Bose Surround Sound System.

With all that power available in the Panamera Turbo S, Porsche engineers had to ensure it could stop just as quickly as it speeds up. So, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes are fitted to the Panamera Turbo S as standard. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) improves traction using the antilock braking system with extended brake functions, acting as a safety blanket when pushing the car’s performance limits. Standard driver assistance features include ParkAssist, cruise control, and Lane Keeping Assist, whilst LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System aid visibility.
