The Taycan GTS comes with styling tweaks to differentiate it from its stablemates, with a whole host of SportDesign body kit, matt black exterior trim, and 20” Taycan Turbo S Aero Design Wheels in satin black. An optional SportDesign package comes with carbon inlays for the lower valance and sideskirts, and GTS-specific rear diffuser in black with carbon side fins. The unique GTS interior combines Race-Tex upholstery and smooth-finish black leather, elevating the driving experience. With the GTS interior package comes decorative stitching in Carmine Red or Crayon, embroidered GTS logos in the headrests of the adaptive sports seats, decorative elements along centre console, and matt carbon surfaces in the doors. An optional panoramic roof can switch from clear to opaque at the push of a button.
PERFORMANCE
A dual-motor setup produces 590bhp of overboost and 850Nm of torque, with a top speed of 155mph. Instant torque launches the GTS from 0 – 62mph in just 3.7 seconds whilst Porsche’s 93.4kWh Performance Battery Plus offers up to 313 miles of range. The Tacyan GTS’ 800-volt technology allows for 270kW DC rapid charging, meaning a 5% - 80% charge time can take as little as 23 minutes. The GTS-specific drivetrain is tuned for increased agility, including adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) for even more engagement and comfort, whilst Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus provides added stability and traction when cornering. In Sport Plus mode, the GTS primes the suspension, active aerodynamics, and the battery for maximum performance.
TECHNOLOGY
Inside, the layout is clean, sleek, and modern. A 16.8” curved digital screen forms the Porsche Advanced Cockpit, with infotainment controlled via the Porsche Communication Management 10.9” display. Another touch-sensitive 8.4” centre console panel sits below for controlling the likes of air conditioning and, when parked, displays the charging status. Porsche Electric Sport Sound replaces the Taycan’s usually silent presence with a unique drive sound. Charging technology includes a Charging Planner which calculates the best route for your destination, considering your current charge status and required range, whilst the My Porsche App allows you to check range, charge status, and more from your smartphone.
SAFETY
The Taycan GTS is fitted with matrix LED headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus for optimum visibility. It also comes equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with ABS and extended brake functions, with 6-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and 4-piston equivalents at the rear. As expected, Porsche has equipped the Taycan GTS with a range of tech-enabled driver assistance systems, including Lane Keeping Assist, cruise control, Warn and Brake Assist, and ParkAssist all fitted as standard.
