Volkswagen Vehicle health checks across the UK

Every vehicle that enters our workshop will receive a vehicle health check at no cost to you. Our comprehensive vehicle health check will examine areas of your vehicle such as your brakes, tyres, exhaust, shock absorbers, fluid levels and battery to ensure that your vehicle is in the best possible condition. At Lancaster Volkswagen we know how important your vehicle is to you. That is why we would like to introduce you to our CitNow videos that will be recorded by your technician and sent to you so you can see items that were identified on your vehicle as needing attention using the traffic light system. This is in addition to the printed out report that you will receive upon collection of your vehicle.

What is a CitNow video?

Our brand trained technicians can ensure that you understand the safety and performance of a range of exterior and interior components of your Volkswagen by recording a video to you of your vehicle. Your technician designated to your vehicle will guide you through any work that needs attention on your vehicle on this footage and will be sent to your email address or shown to you upon collection if you prefer.

How will I receive this footage?

A member of our service department will introduce CitNow to you. They will ensure that they have the correct email address to send the video footage to so you can view the footage at your convenience. You can authorise any additional work online through the video or with your service advisor on the phone, email, text or in person.

What is the traffic light system?

A detailed report on the condition of your vehicle will be completed by a Volkswagen trained technician using the simple traffic light system. The traffic light system highlights issues with your Volkswagen that need to be addressed immediately or to be monitored.
