Mercedes-Benz have a multitude of different warning lights depending on the issue. They also have a simple colour system to help identify the severity of the problem. For example, green lights are simply information and do not require action. Yellow lights require action, and the car should be booked into a dealership. Red lights identify a serious issue, and you should pull over immediately and call roadside assistance.
The yellow engine warning light means that your car has a fault that needs fixing and should be booked into a dealership soon. Yellow lights do not stop you from driving the vehicle; however, you should still fix the issue as quickly as possible by taking your car to your local approved Jardine Mercedes dealership.
