Design

Each of the A6 models make a great first impression. Both the A6 Saloon and the Avant share the new single frame Audi grille with sharp LED headlights. The Saloon is low, wide and sleek and you could even mistake it for the flagship A8 with sharp edges and striking lines, while the Avant similarly presents a sleek, coupe-like profile but is emphasized by the elongated silhouette and trapezoidal window surfaces.

Features

Each A6 model makes a clear statement but all offer style, comfort and practicality. Inside, the interior features stylish, minimalist architecture and carefully crafted materials. Looking after you and your passengers' needs, 2-zone automatic climate control comes as standard which includes two separate controls to set exact temperatures, making for an even more comfortable journey. Indulge in heated front seats on those early winter mornings, while split folding rear seats offer the flexibility to adapt to your needs.

Performance & Technology

All models feature quattro all-wheel drive as standard, plus mild hybrid technology that allows the engine to cut in and out seamlessly, harvesting energy used in braking. The A6 models come with a choice of petrol and diesel engines producing between 204bhp – 340bhp across the Saloon and Avant range. The A6 is fully interconnected. With MMI Navigation as standard across the range which is accessed via a high-definition, twin touch screen. The top display focuses on infotainment, while the lower one allows the user to create up to 27 individual shortcuts for the key vehicle functions, such as phone numbers or navigation destinations, moving them around as on a smartphone app screen to create a personalised display. The adaptive air suspension with controlled damping was specifically developed for the Audi A6 allroad quattro. It adjusts the ride height depending on the road speed and mode set in the Audi drive select system, with a choice of dynamic, automatic, comfort, efficiency, allroad and lift mode.

Safety

The A6 range come with a variety of driver assistance systems designed to keep you safe on the road, including a rear-view camera with parking system plus, lane departure warning, and cruise control, all as standard. As you upgrade through the various trim levels or opt for additional packages, more features will become available to you. The optional City Tour Pack includes functions such as Audi side assist which monitors the areas around you with radar sensors when changing lanes, plus cross traffic assist front whereby the system warns of traffic crossing in front or to the side of the vehicle via vehicle sensors. Alerts are made visually and then acoustically via the MMI, while a brake jolt is applied if a potential collision is detected.
