Four wins for the four rings at the 2017 What Car? Car of the Year Awards

The What Car? Car of the Year Awards are some of the most prestigious automotive awards in the year, making Audi’s spectacular success even more impressive. The iconic brand took home a total of four awards: The A4 won Executive Car of the Year, the Q7 won Luxury SUV of the Year, the A3 Sportback won Best Family Car, and the Audi TT achieved Coupé of the Year for the third year in a row.

The leading consumer publication described the Audi A4 as the ‘smoothest, quietest and best-finished car in its class’ – high praise for the next-generation model. The sleek re-design has clearly upped the ante with its superb refinement, comfort, and levels of technology that rival the full-size class.

The Audi Q7 was praised for its ‘powerful and silky-smooth’ 3.0-litre TDI engine, its ‘fast and slick’ eight-speed tiptronic transmission and its outstanding space as a family vehicle. Steve Huntingford explained: ‘Despite costing much less than an entry-level Range Rover, the Q7 is unquestioningly a better all-rounder. Ultimately, luxury SUVs don’t get any more spacious, comfy, luxurious or sophisticated.’
